Just finished post on film featuring international artist Zavier Ellis aka Charlie Smith London gallerist and curator. We shot the film in his London studio where he talks about his latest body of work for his upcoming show ‘Type 1 Zealotry’ at Cock ‘n’ Bull Gallery, Shoreditch, London. The show is curated by art critic and curator Edward Lucie-Smith.
Well John’s donkey has certainly grown. It is amazing to see the size and scale of the work. We’ve been busy working on our John W. Mills film as well as some other projects that are now in post. And isn’t it incredible that those blue skies only ever appear when you’re in the edit suite.
We had a really busy week last week working with a wide range of artists for some future projects. One day in sunny Harlow, and the next in rural Hertfordshire and then off down the A2 to film in an artist’s studio in Peckham. Hope the weather brightens up this week as we’re filming at the The Summer of Arts in Harlow. Always a lot going on in that part of Essex. At the moment the Gibberd Gallery has work from all over Essex as part of their Essex Collections Exhibition.
